Liz Reisberg is an international consultant working on projects related to the improvement of higher education. Her consulting work and research have focused on higher education reform, primarily in the areas of quality assurance, internationalization, improving university teaching and rethinking curriculum. As a research fellow at the Center for International Higher Education at Boston College she participates in research and other projects with international partners.
She has more than three decades of experience working in university admissions as well as training admissions professionals. Her entrepreneurial endeavor, The MBA Tour, trained and supported generations of MBA admissions directors from many of the world's best-known business schools to develop opportunities in Latin America, Asia and the Middle East. She transferred ownership of the firm in 2005 to pursue her academic career.
Her consulting work is divided between work with ministries of education and international agencies on projects related to the improvement of higher education and collaborating with international universities and other partners to design, teach, bring together faculty experts to deliver workshops on issues related to international trends in higher education with an emphasis on innovative approaches to teaching. She has also taught in the graduate programs in education at Boston College and Lesley University. She teaches in both English and Spanish.
Reisberg holds a PhD from Boston College, an MEd from the University of Massachusetts Amherst and a BA from Bennington College.
