Campus Visits

We encourage you to come and experience Olin College for yourself! The Office of Admission is open throughout the year, Monday through Friday, from 9:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. Information sessions are led by an admission officer, and we offer student-led tours whenever possible. Please RSVP for a visit to let us know you are coming. We look forward to seeing you!

Spring 2012

During the winter months the Office of Admission is focused on reading applications and preparing for our three Candidates' Weekends. You are welcome to stop by our campus, take a self-guided tour and ask any questions you may have, but there are no formal information sessions or tours during January and February.

* Students are either required to be off campus during this time or are preparing for final exams and presentations, so we cannot offer a student-led tour.

The Admission Office will be closed for the following Holidays:

• Labor Day (September 5th)
• Thanksgiving (November 24-25)

Off-Campus Interview

If you live on the West Coast and can't make the trip to campus but still want to learn more about Olin, you may request an interview with our Director for the Western Region. Interviews will next be offered in the Fall of 2012.

Open Houses

Our Fall Open House is scheduled for Sunday, October 23, 2011. Registration for this year's event is now closed. Please check back for information on next year's Open House in the summer.

Women's Open House occurs in August or September each year. It offers young women an opportunity to learn more about Olin College, meet and talk with Olin students, faculty and staff, and make connections with other young women interested in engineering. Check back next year for information on the 2012 Women's Open House.

Classroom Visits/Overnights

High school seniors may request an overnight visit at Olin during the Fall semester. Students will be matched with a current Olin student, spend the night in one of our residence halls, and attend classes and meals with their student host.

Overnight visits are held Sunday-Thursday nights, and there is a one-night maximum per student. Overnight visits will begin the week of September 19th and will continue through November 17th. If an overnight visit does not work for you, seniors can also request a classroom visit. They will be matched with a current student, eat lunch in the dining hall, and attend classes with the host.

We require at least one week notice to arrange a visit and cannot guarantee that an overnight visit is possible. We have a very small student body with limited time resources, but we will do our very best to accommodate your request.
