In Episode 1 and Episode 2 of our “Software Engineering at Olin” series, we heard Prof. Allen Downey explain Olin’s approach to teaching students how to code.  He explains that our curriculum is different, and although we don’t have a computer science major, our students become highly sought after software engineers.    You can read more about Allen’s work in data science, Bayesian statistics and thoughts about many other things at his blog, Probably Overthinking It.

Now in Episode 3, you will hear from our students!  May ’18 grads Katie Hite and David Abrahams spent some time with PGP Director Sally Phelps talking about how they managed to land such fantastic software engineering jobs with IBM Research and Stripe.
