A Statement on Participating in Protests

High school students across the country are wondering how the choice to take part in peaceful protests may impact college admission decisions. I want to assure our current Candidates and future applicants that disciplinary action for participation in nonviolent protests will not negatively influence your admission to Olin College. When we offer a student admission to our community, we expect that student to maintain the academic performance, integrity and character evidenced in their application. A disciplinary action received for participation in a peaceful protest, on its own, will not be viewed as a divergence from your application.

Olin is an institution guided by a set of core values with a mission to improve the world; we encourage you to remain true to your values and your mission to better the world. As always, please contact us if you have any questions at info@olin.edu.
