You are cordially invited to attend the

Women's Open House

12:30 p - 4:30 p

Sunday, August 2, 2009

Olin College of Engineering

I would like to extend a warm invitation to all prospective women to attend the women's open house this Sunday! I will be there
giving tours, and I am more than happy to talk about my little engineering school, and I hope to see you there! Guys, if you want to go to an open house, please come to the fall open house on October 25, 2009.

There are several prime reasons to attend this open house, and I'll do my best to cover a few of them. The first, but by now means the foremost reason you should come, is that weather.com has forecast 40% thunderstorms. Therefore, it is more probable that it will not be raining! And there is a chance that it will be thunderstorming, which I enjoy immensely. The second reason, which will hopefully do more to convince you to attend, is that there will be faculty and current students there (me, for example) that you are free to pick the brains of. Third, you will get to hear from student researchers. Fourth, you can work on a hands-on project with current students. Fifth, you get to meet lots of other women interested in engineering. Sixth, you can get a tour of our expansive, five building campus. Seventh, free snacks.

I hope to see you there!
