The Last Start

I'm sitting in a terminal in JFK Airport, since I smartly booked flights with a whopping 4 hour layover. That's right, I'll be in airports/airplanes for the majority of today, but I'm rocking my Red Sox hat in a sea of Yankees caps! Sadly, my internet is limited, so this post is also low on pictures, but I'll keep it short and sweet.

The dorms open today at 3 pm for all upper-class students; they've been closed for the first years' orientation. For you first years who are reading this, I hope your class bonded, and you had a great time! Can't wait to see who's in my SIBB family tomorrow! For now, I have a few things I want to share with you =]

  1. People will randomly sit with you at meals. That's totally normal. Use it as an excuse to get to know people! Most of us will probably ask how orientation was, or who your SIBB is, since the year's just starting, but
  2. Don't be afraid to ask for help. I know the R2s have probably drilled this into your head, but I think it's important.
  3. Pass-No Record is a valuable thing. Use it wisely. Trust me, as a senior (WHAT!?!) I'm missing it!
  4. Come visit East Hall!! This is my first year not living in West Hall, and I know as a first year I barely left West Hall-so come visit us old people!

For everyone else, I'm so excited to see you all! I'm itching with excitement to move my things into my new room. If you guys need a break from unpacking, Buzzfeed just published a list that is very much Olin (thanks, Heidi ('13) for pointing it out)

Can't wait to have great adventures and one last fantastic go with everyone!!
