We offer a selection of visit experiences during our academic year for educators, academics, and thought leaders. These programs offer a compelling way to experience the unique culture of Olin and spark ideas. Please submit your tour request at least two weeks in advance of your requested date, September - December, and February - April. Use the "Request a Tour" form below to schedule a fall tour.
“Campus, Curriculum, Culture” tour
Learn about Olin’s unique courses and pedagogy as you view classrooms and education spaces and hear from students about the culture of our campus. After the tour, you will have 30 minutes to speak with students, our most authentic ambassadors. Tours take place Wednesdays 9:00 am – 10:00 am, and Thursdays 11:00 am – 12:30 pm, September through mid-December, and February through April.
Olin Expo – A Day-long Immersive Experience
Olin Expo is an end-of-semester celebration of student learning and achievement, where students from every class share their project work through poster sessions, interactive demonstrations, and artistic performance.
Visiting Olin on one of our two Expo days each year is an excellent way to see the evidence and outcomes of Olin’s model for learning. Come for a drop-in visit or for a day-long immersion into all that Olin has to offer. In 2020, Spring Expo will be held on Monday, May 11.
The Collaboratory will host a lunch discussion for those interested in speaking with faculty on Expo Day. In order to attend, please fill out the form below.
For a more immersive experience at Olin, we welcome you to attend one of our periodic curricular workshops. We offer single-day and week-long workshops to suit various interests. Visit our "Attend a Program" page to see what events are scheduled.
If you are unable to visit us during one of our available visit dates or workshops, we welcome you to access our “Tools for Change” page for tools and resources designed for educators seeking to transform education at their home institutions. It is our mission to help transform engineering education, and education more broadly. We have curated tools and resources we believe to be of value to those in the process of transforming education in their home institutions.
