Nina Saberi Named to Board of Trustees

Nina Saberi has been named to the Olin College Board of Trustees. Saberi has had a long and distinguished career as an early-stage investor, an entrepreneur and venture-backed CEO.

She joined the venture community as a general partner of One Liberty Ventures and then founded Castile Ventures in 1998. The Castile team, under Saberi’s leadership, partnered with innovative and successful entrepreneurs to become a highly respected and top-ranking venture capital firm, raising hundreds of millions of dollars across multiple funds.

During her operating career, Saberi was president and CEO of Netlink, a leading network infrastructure provider with a global customer base. Netlink was acquired by Cabletron in one of the top acquisitions of its year. Saberi also led Amnet to a successful acquisition, managed an international joint venture between Data General and Singapore Telecom and held executive marketing and engineering positions at BBN and Avanti Communications.

Saberi has served on the boards of a range of companies including: Agiliance, Ahura Scientific, Aurora Networks, Brix, ChosenSecurity, Funambol, Network Intelligence, Quantiva, Stargus and many others.

She has been recognized by Mass High Tech as an All Star in Finance. She is also the Chairman Emeritus of the Massachusetts Technology Leadership Council. Saberi served on the President’s Advisory Council at the University of Rhode Island where she received her BS in Electrical Engineering.
