Research & Impact at Olin
One important facet of an Olin faculty member's role is to engage in meaningful externally-facing work through activities such as research, educational consulting, entrepreneurship, technical consulting, authoring textbooks and other creative work. Our externally-facing work is valued for the impact it has on outside stake-holders such as research communities, companies, other universities, the general public and others.
Faculty members mentor students in all types of externally-facing work. These real-world and impactful learning experineces provide our students with the confidence, skills and mindsets to persist in their future academic and professional pursuits.
We invite you to learn more about some of the external impact initiatives that our faculty and students are leading.
