“When I first came to Olin, what motivated me was an aspiration to do something good for the world. Now, almost four years later, I can see how that aspiration has grown into something more concrete: a goal in life. During my time at Olin I have discovered what it means to be truly passionate about something, and that passion and aspiration are the two ingredients of any successful venture.”

“My passion is neuroscience, and after I graduate I hope to find a career path where I can use what I have learned as an engineer, my ambition to help the world, and my passion for the brain together. After a year or two of work, I might continue on to graduate school to earn my Ph.D.”

“Other passions of mine include Japanese language and culture, social dancing, and Zen.”
