The Office of Emergency Preparedness is a division of the Public Safety Department. It supports the Olin College community by implementing programs in emergency planning to build, sustain, and improve the capacity of the College to mitigate against, prepare for, respond to, and recover from emergency disasters.

Two and four year public and private higher education institutions in the United States impact tens of millions of students, staff, faculty and visitors. As with all institutions, Olin College has a commitment to ensure the safety and general welfare of all constituencies on our campus and to provide the appropriate policies and procedures to maintain a safe campus.

This Emergency Management website is meant to be the primary source of information in the event of a campus wide emergency. The site provides information on existing emergency procedures; preparedness; guidelines for registering for information, including responding to and staying informed in the event of an emergency; links to on and off campus resources and general tips for making safe choices both on and off campus.

Safety and emergency preparedness is everyone's responsibility and requires teamwork on the part of all faculty, staff, and students. This site is meant as a resource to help maintain awareness of emergency preparedness and to provide information in the event of a campus wide emergency. Alerts will be sent via Olin EAS to registered community members as situations arise and we encourage you to visit this site for additional information.
