Biography
Dr. Benjamin Hill completed his Ph.D. in Electrical and Computer Engineering with a minor in Education at Cornell University. At Cornell he was a member of the asynchronous VLSI and architecture group within the Computer Systems Lab, and the first doctoral student at Cornell Tech in New York City. Ben received his B.S. in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Franklin W. Olin College in 2007, as a member of Olin's second graduating class. Ben’s technical research focuses on self-timed circuit design, particularly high-performance reconfigurable systems. He has also done work in low-power computing, on-chip communication, and 3D integration. Ben is also interested in pre-college engineering education, and serves as advisor to Olin's Engineering Discovery outreach group.
