Soliton Oscillators
The Raytheon SCOPE team investigated a new type of electrical oscillator that could be used in radar and wireless communication systems. This soliton oscillator utilizes non-linear effects to generate many frequencies at once – something that currently requires large complicated networks of components. The team designed, fabricated and characterized several prototypes of this technology to determine its viability in future applications.
