Biotechnology and Biomanufacturing Training Certification Program

Are you eager to start a career in the biotechnology or life sciences industry in Massachusetts?

Olin College, in partnership with Boston-area biotechnology companies, is offering a training program to enable learning of essential skills needed to enter the Biotechnology and Bioprocessing field. Supported by an Advanced Manufacturing Training Program Grant from the State of Massachusetts, this training program is offered at no cost and serves Massachusetts residents who are unemployed or underemployed.

Deadline to apply is April 18th, 2025 or until the program is filled.

Program Overview:

  • Course Duration: May - June (6-week program)
  • Location: Hybrid: Both virtual training and in-person training at Olin College and at Boston-based company locations
  • Cost: Free for qualified individuals, stipend included

Through this six-week program, you'll be prepared for a rewarding career in biotechnology or biomanufacturing, with entry-level roles such as laboratory technician or research assistant. This program provides an opportunity to gain hands-on training and skills to enter the life sciences companies.
