Transcripts & Enrollment Certifications

REQUESTING A TRANSCRIPT

Official student transcripts are available through the Registrar’s Office. Transcripts represent all work within the Olin Learning Continuum.  They contain confidential information and cannot be released without the consent of the student. The information contained on the transcript is detailed within the Grading at Olin page.

Unofficial Transcripts can be obtained via the portal. If you are an alum and do not recall your credentials, please contact helpdesk@olin.edu .

Official transcripts may be requested either directly from the Registrar’s Office or from the National Student Clearinghouse.

Registrar’s Office – paper copies only; no charge

Former Olin students can request transcripts by emailing a scanned copy of the request form, provided it has an actual (not digital) signature, or they may send requests by USPS or fax.

National Student Clearinghouse – fee-based for electronic or paper copies

Olin College partners with the National Student Clearinghouse for transcript order tracking and pdf/electronic delivery of transcripts.  There is a modest cost to the student for this service.  When using the ordering service, you will be able to receive updates as your request moves through the various stages of processing, including a notification when the transcript is opened at its destination.  Note:  access to the electronic document expires after 30 days, so the recipient must open and save it during that window.

If you have a student portal or alumni portal log-in, it is best to authenticate to the service via MyStAR. Otherwise, you may go directly to The National Student Clearinghouse and follow the steps for transcript ordering. (Enter the name of the college as "Franklin W. Olin College of Engineering.") The National Student Clearinghouse is a trusted source of enrollment and transcript services for institutions of higher education. For more specific information about them, please visit their 'about us' page: The National Student Clearinghouse.
