Anastasia Crosswhite joined the Office of the President as Chief Operating Officer in March 2026. As COO, Crosswhite oversees core administrative and operational functions, including Human Resources, Campus Services and Information Technology, ensuring our infrastructure supports Olin’s mission and strategic priorities. In addition, she is responsible for Board of Trustee relations, supporting effective governance and communication.  

Crosswhite comes to Olin from Spencer Stuart, an international executive search firm, where she helped many higher education and related institutions find, assess and recruit top talent. Prior to her role at Spencer Stuart, Crosswhite served as the associate dean for planning and advisor to the dean at the New York University Stern School of Business, and before that, associate vice president for faculty housing at NYU and member of the university’s senior leadership team.  

Crosswhite began her career in law. She was an associate in the corporate department at New York law firm Davis Polk & Wardwell and was a clerk to the Hon. Amalya L. Kearse, U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit.  

Crosswhite holds a J.D. from the NYU School of Law, an M.B.A. from the NYU Stern School of Business, a master’s in history from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and a bachelor's in history from Princeton University. 

In her free time, Crosswhite enjoys reading, travel, exercise, and is a rabid college basketball and WNBA fan.
