Andrew Coole is a higher education finance leader with deep experience in strategic financial planning, operations, and organizational transformation. He currently serves as Senior Director of Budget & Financial Planning at Olin College of Engineering, where he leads institutional budgeting, forecasting, and long-range financial planning in partnership with senior leadership.
Prior to joining Olin, Coole was Associate Vice President of Finance at Endicott College, where he led the finance division and supported executive leadership and the Board of Trustees in advancing strategic priorities. During his time there, he guided a multi-year Workday ERP implementation, introduced modern budgeting and planning tools, and helped shape long-term financial strategy and enterprise risk management efforts. Earlier, Coole held senior finance leadership roles at Bentley University, overseeing university-wide budgeting and planning while working closely with leadership on enrollment strategy, capital investments, and financial sustainability.
Coole began his career at Boston College, managing financial operations for a large auxiliary services division, and also worked in public accounting at Deloitte. He holds a Master of Science in Accounting and a Master of Business Administration from Northeastern University, and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from The George Washington University. He brings a collaborative approach, strong technical expertise, and experience leading organizations through complex change. Coole is a resident of Boston who enjoys outdoor activities such as skiing and hiking.
