Salvadore Liberto is the dean of admission and financial aid at Olin College of Engineering. Under his leadership, Olin enrolled its largest class in fall 2024 and applications have increased more than 20% since 2023.
Salvadore has 27 years of experience in higher education enrollment and financial aid. Most recently, he led the admission team at the University of South Alabama where applications grew by 40% and the college experienced record levels of campus visits and tours. The systems he put in place achieved record new student enrollment for South Alabama. In a previous role, Salvadore doubled the new student enrollment at Roosevelt College of Pharmacy and helped create Northern Vermont University, merging the enrollment operations of two separate schools.
At Loyola University, where he was Vice President for Enrollment Management and managed a professional staff of 30, he developed a recruitment strategy for full-time undergraduate students that almost doubled their enrollment while also increasing the quality of the applicants. Locally, he has held leadership roles in admission at both Newbury College and Cambridge College. Salvadore has also provided several other successful consultancies to numerous colleges across the United States.
Salvadore holds a bachelor's in communication and philosophy and a masters in higher education administration, both from Boston College. He is married to Amy and has two daughters, Lilly and Emery. Salvadore is also a professional musician, with occasional concerts as a pianist, singer-songwriter.
