Why should I attend the Fall Open House?
During typical campus visits, students will often meet and speak with an admission representative and student tour guide. Our open house program gives students the opportunity to learn about the school from current students, faculty, and staff members. Campus community members will be available to answer any questions you may have about our student life or unique academic programs.
Additionally, attending our open house program will give you the opportunity to collaborate and meet with like-minded students! During the open house, you will be able to meet with over 100 students who are also interested in Olin’s academic approach which emphasizes hands-on learning, collaboration, and tackling real-world problems.
Lastly, attending an institution’s open house will show the admission team your interest in the school. At Olin, demonstrated interest is but one part of our holistic review process. It is
not a requirement, nor is it the main factor in your admission decision. Your demonstrated interest is as much a benefit to you as the student as to colleges. By engaging with colleges in various ways, you get to learn more about them, which leads you to make a more informed decision on where to apply and ultimately enroll!
