Convocation is an opportunity for the entire Olin community to come together to welcome the Class of 2028.
Please join us on Wednesday, September 4th at 11 A.M. for Convocation. This annual event welcomes everyone, especially the incoming Class of 2028, back to the Oval for the start of the academic year.
This year, we will discuss Olin’s summer reading book, How Infrastructure Works: Inside the Systems That Shape Our World by our very own Deb Chachra. Deb will lead a book discussion, followed by an interactive activity and community lunch.
The Olin summer reading program involves the whole community, including incoming students, in a common intellectual experience, and provides the basis for our first all-community gathering of the academic year: Convocation. This program is supported by a generous gift from the Class of 2006, thus linking those in our community who came before us with those who are about to join us.
