Dispensing Thermal Putty Accurately for Improved Performance

This year, the Blue Origin SCOPE Team will design and fabricate an automated thermal putty dispensing machine for use in a lab environment. Blue Origin is looking for the ability to consistently dispense the correct amount of thermal putty on prototype assemblies. Having this capability would greatly reduce the risk of insufficient component coverage which could lead to erroneous test results. Students will leverage their skills in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, and Software Engineering to develop an integrated solution to meet these needs.
