Tender Food is a plant-based meat startup that puts taste and texture first. To aid in scaleup efforts, Tender is investigating different collection methods for our plant-based fibers that will require updating our post-processing methods. The Tender SCOPE team will develop a method and system to dry thin, delicate sheets of fibers in a way that is both time and energy efficient. The team will research different methods and prototype and test systems. Tender hopes to implement the findings from this project in their pilot line to increase product throughput and usability.
