The Multicultural Innovator eXperience (MIX)
The Multicultural Innovator eXperience (MIX) is a safe space and community for people from unrepresented backgrounds.
The MIX is a club that pursues both social and professional activities in order to engage its members in both community-building activities as well as career-development. Our focus is to provide opportunities for under-represented groups to attend large professional conferences such as the Society of Hispanic Professional Engineer’s (SHPE) yearly national convention. SHPE is the MIX’s main professional focus event, where students can attend panels that discuss engineering habits to build, network with like-minded professionals as well as students, and meet top companies looking for the next generation of engineers.
