Pfizer, Inc. Global Clinical Supply (GCS) Data Product Operating Model
Faculty Advisor: Amon Millner
Sponsor: Pfizer
As organizations increasingly rely on data and digital technologies to drive decision-making, there is a growing need for scalable approaches to managing and delivering data-driven capabilities. This project will explore how a structured operating model can support the lifecycle of data products—from concepts and planning through implementation and continuous improvement.
This year’s SCOPE team will research industry practices, engage with stakeholders, and develop prototype workflows and tools that demonstrate how organizations can more effectively manage, prioritize, and govern data product design, prioritization, and delivery. The project will draw upon systems engineering, product management, data governance, user-centered design, and process optimization principles to accelerate operations across Global Clinical Supply. Success will require strong skills in systems thinking, workflow design, data analysis, stakeholder engagement, and rapid prototyping. The outcomes of this work may help organizations improve operational effectiveness, increase transparency in decision-making, and accelerate the delivery of value from digital and data investments.
