Olin College of Engineering is ranked No. 3 in the nation among undergraduate engineering programs. This marks the eighth consecutive year that Olin has ranked third among accredited undergraduate engineering programs in a survey of deans and senior faculty at U.S. engineering schools.

Additionally, Olin’s Mechanical Engineering program has been ranked No. 3 nationally, moving up a spot from last year’s list. Olin’s Electrical Engineering program is ranked sixth.

“This continued recognition for Olin by U.S. News and World Report is acknowledgement by our peers that we have one of the most innovative engineering programs in the country,” said Olin College President Gilda Barabino. “Our students, who come to Olin from around the world, do so because of our hands-on experience, emphasis on doing good in the world and the care and attention we can provide each individual in a small environment.”

Olin College earned a score of 4.4 in the most recent U.S. News survey, where survey participants were asked to rate programs they were familiar with on a scale from 1 (marginal) to 5 (distinguished). U.S. News has separate rankings for undergraduate engineering programs at colleges that offer doctoral degrees in engineering.
