Investigating Motorcycle Control Capabilities in Standard Maneuvers



The 2015-16 SCOPE team investigated methods for enhancing motorcycle control capabilities with the goal of increasing rider performance. The team generated a wide range of ideas and narrowed down potential solutions based on technical feasibility, system effectiveness, and fidelity to the famous Harley-Davidson brand. Using hand calculations, simulations, and hardware prototypes to evaluate potential technologies, the team recommended the most promising solutions to Harley-Davidson for implementation.
