About Jessi Murray'10

Jessi Murray '10 is the Chief Product Officer for the MA Department of Early Education and Care, where she has been building a new Product organization from the ground up. Throughout her software PM career, Jessi has been looking for ways to use her skills to make people's lives tangibly better, working on popular operating systems as well as niche tools for scientists. After over a decade in the private sector, she made the leap to the public sector, first working on the Massachusetts Paid Family & Medical Leave program before shifting to the Department of Early Education and Care in early 2023.

Jessi Murray '10 grew up in Massachusetts and was part of Olin's 5th graduating class before moving to Seattle, Washington for 12 years. There, she balanced a career in software product management with volunteerism and activism. She worked for Microsoft, LabKey Software, and GenUI software consulting while participating in policy fellowships, co-chairing the Seattle LGBTQ Commission, working on state bills like the Reproductive Health Care Access for All law, and running for state representative. Jessi moved back to Massachusetts in 2022 while working on the state’s Paid Family & Medical Leave tech implementation and now serves as the Chief Product Officer for the MA Department of Early Education & Care.
