Amazon Remote Manipulation System

Robotics is transforming the industrial and commercial landscape across a variety of domains allowing for faster and more efficient operations. Amazon Robotics has pioneered the use of robotic manipulation systems and continues to explore new ways to bring a wider variety of goods closer to the customer at a low cost. This year’s SCOPE team created a package manipulation robot, with an integrated perception system, that can be operated remotely. The robot control system can be used to remotely support Amazon associates and improve the ability to complete orders quickly.
