SCOPE Summit 2026

Amazon Robotics is engaging SCOPE students in exploring the space of classifying living and non-living beings, locating them, and understanding the vectors they’re heading using commercial-grade and consumer-grade sensing systems.

This year, the Blue Origin SCOPE Team will design and fabricate an automated thermal putty dispensing machine for use in a lab environment.

This year’s Boston Scientific SCOPE team will design and fabricate a mechanism to provide enhanced access of tools and visualization at the tip of a duodenoscope without causing unintended scope movement. 

This year’s SCOPE team, like the 2024-2025 team will join a large interdisciplinary research team and contribute key components to proof-of-concept instructional games for K-3rd grade students developing reading skills.

As part of New Balance’s continual work to improve associates' work experience while maintaining high-quality standards, the SCOPE students will build from last year's SCOPE team to develop a highly-automated solution, creating tooling that reduces the manual tests and improves the consistency of the quality check.

This SCOPE team will be developing a new tool to accurately identify the location of parasites in pre-processed fish and prototype a method for automated removal.

This team will be exploring opportunities to automatically identify the presence of pedestrians and activate safety measures to improve pedestrian safety.

This year's SCOPE team is working to develop a method and system to dry thin, delicate sheets of fibers in a way that is both time and energy efficient. By researching different methods and prototyping and testing systems, we hope to implement the findings from this project in our pilot line to increase our product throughput and usability.
